Habitat for Humanity Sri Lanka in partnership with World Vision Sri Lanka completed 2,332 full homes and repair 34 homes and support to economic development of the beneficiaries by implementing SMEs. The project covered 31 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the 08 Divisional Secretariat divisions falling under the purview of the 03 District Secretariats of Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu and Batticaloa. The purpose of the final impact evaluation is to measure the outcomes and impact of the project. The evaluation aims to examine and identifying major impacts of this project under 5 cross categories, Housing beneficiaries’ assessment, Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) assessment, Community-based Organization (CBO) assessment, Assessment of individuals trained in construction, Impact assessment of the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) interventions.
The project covers in conducting a comprehensive survey among a cross section of the project beneficiaries covering the 31 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the 08 Divisional Secretariat divisions falling under the purview of the 03 District Secretariats of Killinochchi, Mullaitivu and Batticaloa. The survey to be conducted using the following assessments to measure each of the different project life time indicators as per the project log frame:
- Housing beneficiaries’ assessment
- Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) assessment
- Community-based Organization (CBO) assessment
- Assessment of individuals trained in construction
- Impact assessment of the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) interventions
