National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP) maintains the Sri Lanka Cancer Registry (SLCR) and the Population-Based Cancer Registry (PBCR) for the capital district of Colombo which are the official sources of cancer incidence data for the country. Since the National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP) maintains the Sri Lanka Cancer Registry (SLCR), it is vital the fact that the registry is being updated in due course for future needed proceedings. Real-time data is a necessity to stay relevant for today’s information and it needs to be delivered by sophisticated electronic communications tools such as digital signage and data dashboards, to secure the easy access and the accuracy of information. The assignment is to support the NCCP to update the National Cancer Registry and the Population-Based Cancer Registry in Colombo district by extracting, entering, duplicate checking of cancer incidence data of 2016 – 2019.
